Men’s Basketball: Exceeding all expectations
The men’s basketball team is off to a good start, but it has been a battle to get there.
The Saints won their first eight games, but needed overtime in three of the wins. On Saturday, no overtime was needed as the Saints beat Holy Cross, 90-43.
Aquinas shot 64 percent from the field. Junior center Pedja [...]

Thief patrols the hallways of AB, caught on security cameras
On Nov. 27, a thief walked into the Academic Building “where he planned to shop all day,” said Tony Nolan, director of Campus Safety. “He was doing his Christmas shopping.”
The first reported crime was that the suspect stole a wallet from the office of Sarah Cox, coordinator of the Academic Achievement Center.

Column: How expensive is true love?
I about fell over laughing this past week when I heard a radio personality talking about how much it would actually cost to buy everything in the “12 Days of Christmas” song.
So, how much would it cost you to buy your true love everything on the list?
A very cool $78,100.
If you shop online, the cost [...]
Asking Santa for an eating disorder: Popular Bratz dolls promote sexual promiscuity, unhealthy body image
Let’s play a game! Guess what (or who) I’m describing: Wearing knee high cherry red patent leather stiletto boots with white furry trim, a cherry red velvet skirt barely making it past the buttocks with white furry trim, velvet cherry red top exposing a dangerously thin stomach with white furry trim on the collar and [...]
Column: What are you searching for?
Ah, Google.
Just a decade ago, who would have thought that the multi-billion dollar search engine would be our first stop in online holiday shopping?
Who would have thought that hundreds, perhaps thousands of innocent boys and girls would be utterly crushed by a simple, innocent question typed into the search bar: is santa real?
Go ahead — [...]

Column: Imagine a world without Gatorade
This past week, a great sports legend died.
No, it wasn’t anyone who broke records, scored touchdowns, hit home runs or did anything that earned them in a particular sporting hall of fame.
It’s a man who has affected nearly every one of our lives (especially if we are or were once athletes), and provided us with [...]
