Starbucks executives are taking a pay freeze. And this time, no, whipped cream isn’t an option.
Following the U.S. coffee giant’s first-ever quarterly loss, top Starbucks executives were informed today that they should not expect any salary raises over the course of the next year. According to Reuters, last month Starbucks indicated that it expected its business to diminish in the coming year.
Industry analysts blame higher gasoline prices and a slumping U.S. housing market.
