New line of clothing at bookstore a hit

Over these past couple of years, some of the apparel in the AQ bookstore has been very vivid and popular.

Just now, lounge trousers are on the hot line. These nifty trousers have timeless patterns and the name of our college adorning the left leg in large capital letters. Some think that they are only appropriate to wear as pajama bottoms because of the way they are “loose-fitting.”

However — students have been wearing them to class, and sometimes even to their jobs. The tightness and height of these trousers can be adjusted via a drawstring. They can be pulled above the waist if preferred to dress conservatively, as for a job. For a casual look, they can be left to hang loose.

The lounge trousers with the floral pattern have the “AQUINAS” decal printed in dark olive green lettering. The striped and plaid versions have the decal in white or very light pink. All of the styles show school spirit, and can complement any solid-colored top — even black or white.

In addition to the cute lounge trousers, neutral-colored cardigans with the matching patterns of the trousers are on the insides of the hoods. They make great matches with the lounge trousers available to customers.

Not only are stripes, plaid and flowered prints popular on campus, but polka dots are also a big hit. Numerous women on Aquinas College’s campus have been wearing polka-dotted rubber boots, trousers, dresses, skirts, semiformal tops, and headbands. Men have also been seen with polka dotted clothing, but the pattern is mostly on neckties worn with formal attire.

Historically, these certain clothing prints were out of style, but the vast majority of the students of Aquinas College believe that to be false. In thousands of perspectives, clothing patterns and color combinations represent emotions and solidarity.
