It’s official. Barack Obama has announced his selection of Joseph Biden as his running mate. The chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations and a practicing Catholic, Sen. Biden is expected to reinvigorate Obama’s foreign policy credentials against an increasingly aggressive McCain campaign, and force McCain to reevaluate his strategy on working-class swing voters.
