HOCKEYTOWN AFFIRMED
With a 3-2 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins on unfriendly ice, the Detroit Red Wings claimed their 11th Stanley Cup Championship. Chris Osgood blocked a shot by Penguins captain Sidney Crosby, and Marian Hossa narrowly missed a tip-in in the final seconds, sending Lord Stanley back to Hockeytown for the fourth time in 11 consecutive seasons.
